Heart Health Mobile is a research project created by Marshfield Clinic Research Foundation developers. The mobile application was recently awarded first prize in the Million Hearts Risk Check Challenge™ sponsored by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT.
Marshfield Clinic's Heart Health Mobile App is designed to:
- Reach individuals nationwide, especially those who may be at risk for developing heart disease.
- Provide a quick heart health check and motivate users to obtain a more accurate assessment including blood pressure and cholesterol values.
- Direct users to nearby locations offering affordable, convenient blood pressure and cholesterol screenings.
